I John 1:9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Please review the Prayer of Repentance shown below.  Click on the white links to go to the scripture that each statement is based upon.  We think that it is important that you become acquainted with this prayer and that you understand and agree with its content before you pray it.  After you have reviewed this prayer, and if you agree with its content, then please say this prayer out loud to the LORD and he will hear you. 

Be sure to confess all the sins you have committed against the LORD as he brings them to mind during the days and weeks that lie ahead.   You have the LORD's promise that if you will do this, that he will forgive you for all of your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.  What a wonderful merciful GOD we serve.

The Prayer of Repentance

 Pray this Prayer Out Loud

Oh God Be merciful To me a sinner

Save me from all my sins

Forgive me now for I confess my sins

And unrighteous ways unto you

Thank you LORD that you have been ever faithful

And that you have never left me nor forsaken me

Even though I have walked contrary to your ways

And have been unfaithful unto you.

I confess my sins and guilt before you Lord

For I know that you will be faithful and just to forgive me of all my sins

And to cleanse me from all unrighteousness

According to thy word

Bring to remembrance the unconfessed sins and transgressions

whereby I have sinned and trespassed against you

So that I can confess them all

And be restored to the place that you have reserved for me.

And even as you have forgiven me for all the sins and trespasses

Whereby I have sinned and trespassed against you

So I have chosen to forgive others for all the sins and trespasses

Whereby they have sinned and trespassed against me

I Renounce the Devil and all of his Works

Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God

And that you shed your blood and died for me

And that God raised you from the dead

Fill my Heart with your presence and love

For you are my Savior and my Lord

Lord, help me to make a good repentance

So that I will never turn away from you

Give me a faithful heart

So that I will not sin against you

Lord, as I have turned to you with all my heart

So I pray that you will help me

And give me the Holy Spirit

According to thy Word

Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk

For I lift up my soul unto thee

Guide me O LORD in all of thy ways

That I may know and recognize you

As I seek you LORD with all my heart

Heal and restore my relationship with you

And I will give you Glory, Honor, and Praise

All the remaining days of my life

Jeremiah 29:11-14  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you (a good) and expected end.  12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.  13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.  14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: ...

If you prayed this prayer from your heart, you have now been restored to a right relationship with the one who truly loves you, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.  You have been grafted back into GOD’s family and you are now a child of GOD, a born again child of GOD, and we give praise, honor, and glory to God.  The Bible says that there is great joy in heaven because you have chosen to repent and turn again to the LORD.
